Break out the champagne! Some of the black and white comics whose archive was not working have now been fixed. I found another site that displays the comics back many years, and have linked to that site for all possible comics. This doesn’t fix everything, but it fixes many popular comics, like reader-favorite 9 Chickweed Lane, and Dilbert, among others.
I also took this opportunity to add The Phantom to the archives. I’m not sure why I missed that one the first time, but it’s there now.
I’ll be adding about 8- new comics in the coming days, including a few that I read daily like Big Nate and Candorville.
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Many of you have no doubt noticed that the Houston Chronicle has cleaned out their old comics. I am working on a solution, but it may not be implemented for a few days or even weeks. Please keep checking back, and I’ll be sure to post when everything is back to normal.
I also hope to post more often, and discuss more comic-related things, especially good web comics, of which there are surprisingly many.

Crankshaft - 12.19.2008

Crankshaft’s only friend in the world is his son-in-law’s old and bitter mother, and even she doesn’t really seem to like him very much. For those who don’t regularly read this comic strip, this is about as upbeat as it gets.
Garfield - 12.19.2008

I must admit, this made me laugh a bit - quite a feat for Garfield.
Gil Thorp - 12.19.2008

When I was growing up, my family owned a small store. This was our method of crime prevention as well - A fake camera with a small red light. It even had a cord that ran through the drywall and into the back room, where it abruptly ended.
Herb and Jamaal - 12.19.2008

Isn’t this former bum/millionaire the same as the “obnoxious white guy” they use from time to time in this strip?
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for visiting my site. I’ve had this site up and running for a while, and I started it primarily as an easy way for me to catch up on the storylines of some comics I had missed after they got canceled from my local newspaper. After a few months, I realized that I was getting hundreds of new visitors a day, so I guess I’m not the only one looking for comic archives.
So anyway, I figured it would be fun to add a bit of commentary, so that’s what this blog is for.
Peruse the site to your heart’s content, and be sure to check back and post comments.

Help Keep This Site Free Without Spending a Cent!
Here's the thing - running a site like this that gets thousands upon thousands of visitors a day isn't cheap. In fact, it can get quite expensive.
I've thought about asking for donations, but I don't want anyone to have to pay to use this site, especially if there are other ways to raise the
necessary cash.
Here's the good news. I've partnered with a few sites that will give us $1 - $2 for every person that goes to their site, enters their email
address, and look at a few ads. Seriously!
It takes like 1-2 minutes tops, and if everyone that visited this site did it one time, we would have enough cash to run the site for a year!
Plus, you can get valuable items, like an Apple iPad, a $500 gift card, or awesome video games, totally free!
Unfortunately, not everyone will feel inclined to help, so we need your support even more! If you feel the least bit like helping us out, please
click on an offer below (or several), and follow the instructions. You have to enter your email address and look at a few advertisements -
that's it!
There are thousands of people that use this site every day. If you'd rather donate money to help us out, that's great! I won't stop you. But supporting our sponsors below is basically the same as donating money, but it doesn't cost you a cent!
